Welcome to Cancer-Caregiver blog. I spent the past two and one-half years as a cancer caregiver for my wife who was battling stage IV lung cancer (non-smoker) since being diagnosed in December 2004.
Cancer has had a major impact on my life - it has forced me to learn to live one day at a time. Needless to say, we did our best to enjoy each day we were together until her death on April 7, 2007.
I learned many things during her illness that I would like to share with other caregivers and thus - the reason for this blog. It is not easy to carry on without a loved one - however, the experience has provided me with the experience and knowledge to assist others hopefully.

I am a cancer caregiver. I also have a 3 year old. It is very exhausting. My husband’s cancer has changed his moods — he takes his anger out on me. When I am sick (today) it is very hard.

thank -you i will be learning to cope and help my mother, she has been diagnosed with stage 3b lung cancer. i,m so scared for her .i,m 42 and the thought of my mom going through all of this is so scarey.i,ll fight right alone side her all the way.
